Sales Manager Required in Dubai
Sales Manager is responsible for the daily sales efforts and is responsible for the overall positioning of the hotel, brand communication and the development of customers for the property including, Rooms, Dining Outlets, and Events.
The job holder is responsible for rental revenue, yield strategies, implementation, market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets. Strategies will include pricing, status, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relations.
The job holder must have a dynamic leadership style, possessing excellent communication and decision making skills and an astute business acumen.
Key Accountabilities:
Prepares Annual Sales & Marketing Business Plan & Strategies.
Prepares monthly revenue projection, KPI targets, sales reports and sales analytics.
Creates an effective Sales & Marketing Programs that will increase brand awareness and positive perception of the Hotel, its activities, hospitality services, and its personnel.
Conducts regular competitive benchmarking, current market trends and economic factors.
Ability to access, understand and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Manages and implementation of the long-term and daily commercial strategy of the hotel.
Identifying New Business Opportunities (NBO) and its sources of business within all segments and collaborate with various teams to set up strategies.
Conduct pricing strategies, promotional activities, resources planning and monitoring outcomes.
Designs, implement and supervise sales targets of the sales team.
Maintains active communication and rapport with key councils, bureaus, Airlines, Tour Operators, Brokers, Travel Agencies, Sales Offices, etc. that can aid to increase sales of the hotel.
Assist the CEO in preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budget; manages within approved plans and budgets.
Ability to effectively listen analysis and mix, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Data Management:
Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand management.
Review and analyse various reports to monitor sales activities, departmental budgets and KPI’s.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.
Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
Minimum five years of sales and marketing in the hotel industry
Must have strong local UAE experience on relevant position over one (1) year
Has excellent knowledge of corporate & events market in the UAE
Must have PMS (EZee) good experienced knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems
Command of the English language both written and verbal
Strong media, presentation and computer skills
Competencies:
Must have strong leadership skills.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good knowledge in general financial principles.
Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).
Proficient in computer skills in all MS Office packages required.
Ability to integrate well into teams & work towards achieving team sales results.
Pleasant and courteous manners required.
Ability to cope with stress, logical and methodical procedures, etc.
Ability to handle multiple tasks flexibly and effectively and deliver work in a timely fashion
