Route2Market’s client is one of the fastest growing, new age, Multi-National Company active in the field of renewable energy. Our client is looking for a Sales Manager MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region to join the sales and marketing team in the company.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and business development in the target countries across the Region.
The Sales Manager will be Responsible for:
Sales and business development in the target countries across the region;
Actively manage sales cycles and customer engagements and meet planned sales objectives by bringing specific knowledge and experience to the opportunities;
Prepare Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly sales reports and share them with the management;
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volume;
Analyzing existing and planned PV solar sites, collaborating with engineering and operation teams and preparing price quotations accordingly;
Customer-facing skills and the ability to drive deep technical sessions emphasizing the unique selling points of our technology and products;
Manage commercial negotiations and overall process until the signing of agreements;
Developing strong personal and professional relationships and advocates across the customer organization;
Surveying consumer needs and trends and tracking competitors.
Demonstrate a proactive, tenacious and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving;
Effectively interact and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to attain results.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry meetings to represent Company.
Frequent travel to client meetings and project sites.
Job Qualifications & Required Skills:
Experience of 6-8 years in international sales, particularly in the MENA region;
Experience in sales of solar PV or technical products/solutions is an advantage;
Must be currently residing in Dubai/ UAE;
Bachelors in Engineering with MBA in International Business/ sales & marketing;
Technical abilities – Ability to understand and converse on technical drawings and issues;
Ability to build empathy, ability to listen, and be naturally inquisitive;
Excellent access to people and high service orientation;
Negotiation with interpersonal and communication skills;
Commercial mindset, goal-oriented, quick learner and self-motivated;
Strong commercial acumen with financial and analytical skills;
Excellent understanding of agreements and the ability to execute binding agreements;
Highly motivated, organized, and with a positive “whatever it takes” attitude;
Primary language required: English - Fluent – A MUST. Additional languages, an advantage;
Experience with MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint;
Experience with SalesForce and ERP - Priority, an advantage.
Location:
The position shall be based out of Dubai. The management reserves the right to change the work location depending on the Job requirement. The job will require frequent travel to the target markets, India and the company's headquarters.
