Coordinator, Local Sales
The Coordinator, Local Sales EMEA - a key member of the Sonder Sales team - will help drive Sonder’s revenue by supporting a team of Local Sales Managers throughout EMEA with corporate account support, customer activity and bookings, communication and reporting. They will partner closely with the Coordinator, Local Sales the Americas as well. The Coordinator, Local Sales is responsible for assisting with contracts, letters of agreement, quarterly customer production reports, management of promo codes/validity dates, as well as supporting marketing initiatives and facilitating reservations and group blocks. This position will work in lockstep with Sales Managers for a seamless client/guest experience. Well versed in the hospitality sales process and skilled at simultaneously managing multiple projects, this position will act as the liaison between the sales team and the city operations teams to ensure a flawless booking process for corporate transient guests and travel arrangers. This position serves as the hub of local sales optimization including: collaboration with city teams, educating our clients on the Sonder experience, help execute sales agreements and foster meaningful customer relationships. This Coordinator will be agile, driven by self-leadership, and have a keen sense of prioritization in order to complete these various tasks throughout their day.
At Sonder You Will
Facilitate/assist new or existing reservations for corporate guests.
Handles customer inquiries and leads and refers to sales managers.
Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (generating contract, customer correspondence, communication with city teams).
Processes business correspondence and creates contracts and other related booking documentation as required.
Builds successful relationships
Drives customer loyalty through excellent customer service
Serves the customer by understanding their needs
Builds & strengthens relationships with existing & new customers to enable future bookings
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
Grow usage and adoption of Sonder amongst corporate accounts, optimizing for incremental revenue; support the Sellers with guest/group contact communication, lead management, reservation fulfillment, and general account support.
Assist with customer service inquiries for managed accounts and ensure quick resolution while also keeping all internal stakeholders updated.
Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues that arise.
Coordinate billing arrangements, special requests, and VIP customers.
Support the Sellers with guest communication, lead management, reservation fulfillment, and general account support.
Provide consistent, exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
Collaborate with internal cross functional teams including city operations teams, central guest services, legal, finance and real estate, and others that work directly with the sales organization.
Process commission/rebate payments in partnership with FinOps.
Provide sales support to help sales managers improve their productivity and spend more time selling.
Actively Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings.
What We Look For
2-4 years of customer facing experience in the hospitality or travel industry, preferably in the corporate sales space.
Strong understanding of the hotel industry’s distribution and reservations landscape.
Strong ability to see projects through from beginning to end; an organized multi-tasker who thrives on managing multiple projects at the same time.
Super-communicator, both internally and externally, with strong interpersonal skills; Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships to drive partner satisfaction and growth.
Proven ability to improve and/or streamline processes in a growing, changing, complex environment.
Skilled in both Microsoft and Google suites of products, Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools.
Excited and passionate about Sonder, reaching sales targets, and working cross-functionall to build a world class Sales organization!

Proficiency in languages other than English and Arabic are a plus
