We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our operations team based in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in occupational health and safety protocols, risk management, and regulatory compliance, with a solid background in managing safety in industrial or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local UAE laws and international standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigations.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Ensure that all workers and subcontractors follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Lead safety induction training and toolbox talks for all site personnel and visitors.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all safety-related activities, incidents, and reports.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities during inspections and ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in safety committees and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience working as a Safety Officer in industrial, construction, or logistics sectors, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
Certifications (Mandatory):
• NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) – must be current and valid
• SARS (Safety Accreditation Recognition Scheme) – certification is strictly required
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and take proactive measures in safety management.

• Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
