Sourcing new opportunities and conduct the required feasibility analysis to assess the potential of projects, in addition to structuring business deals and negotiating contracts, attaining internal approval as required; and assisting in the on-going oversight of projects through to opening.
To direct the identification of potential new business opportunities, including the assessment of different markets, to assess the degree of feasibility and suitability for one of our brand in hotels to develop and initiate new projects, from which would follow lead generation, site visits and inspections for cases that conform to agreed strategies, development criteria and standards.
Overseeing and managing the identification of risks in new projects and markets in order to provide management with a preliminary view of the risks involved and propose risk mitigation or avoidance measures to enable the projects to proceed with acceptable level of risk.
To ensure response to new tenders or opportunities in collaboration with other departments across this brand.
Ensuring the development and implementation of high-level feasibility studies, concepts and development briefs for project and investment opportunities in order to assess which are most attractive and feasible from a financial, operational and technical perspective.
Overseeing the screening process for potential development projects, in order to assess the legal and financial viability in accordance with the corporate strategy and local governance, as well as conducting technical appraisals.
Preparing initial internal market and financial feasibility studies together with the COO and other internal departments in order to consider and demonstrate effective due diligence.
To recommend opportunities for development based on due diligence, company’s investment philosophy, risk appetite and potential upside.
