Regional HR Manager Required in Dubai
SUMMARY
The Regional HR Manager is responsible for Talent Acquisition & Development and for executing the supporting HR initiatives and programs for the Middle East. In addition, he/she supports the HR Director in the daily activities of the OU Middle East HR.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company.
· Accompany the annual manpower planning (budgeting) exercise from HR side for the entire region and interlink with Finance.
· Revise and approve relevant manpower requests coming from the countries against budgeted/estimated headcount numbers in close coordination with functional Directors and the BU.
· Support the countries’ HR Managers in recruitment activities, especially interviews, and attend interviews with functional Directors on behalf of OU ME.
· Manage contracts for Directors as per company standards and internal compensation schemes.
· Work closely with the HR teams in respective countries on setting and achieving recruiting and retention KPIs in alignment with the OU and BU HR strategy.
· Ensure a coherent Succession Planning for all key positions in the Region.
· Involvement and familiarization with operational HR requirements and trends in the countries & region.
· Continuously benchmark the HR policies of the region against market practice and ensure adhesion to changing legal frameworks (Labor Law, Social Security, Immigration…).
· Conduct HR Audits as per RC standards.
· Active involvement and support on future Corporate/BA/BU projects across TKE Middle East.
· Design, develop and implement special regional HR projects in close collaboration with the countries.
· Revise the countries’ proposed salary increments and bonus schemes as per RC/BU tools and templates.
· Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports related to payroll, headcount and man-hours.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Admin./Law/Psychology, HR major is a plus
· Professional Titles/Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a TA or operational role
Knowledge/skills:
· Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development.
· Relevant HR modules / HR management systems (ideally Success Factors).
· Analytical and problem-solving ability with strong leadership skills.
· Be capable of working with senior-level executives and acting as HR BP.
· Be people-oriented.
· Able to critically review personnel performance and advise necessary corrective actions.
· Process project management skills. An effective planner, executor, problem solver and decision maker.
· High degree of personal effectiveness and team-working skills.
· Be customer focused and be prepared to lead by example in dealing with customer issues.
D. Computer skills
· Computer proficiency, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), SAP/SFEC/Workday/Lumesse.
Languages (besides English)
· Arabic is a plus.
