Regional Head of IT Required in Dubai

The Regional Head of IT is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the entire IT-topics in the region. These include standard IT-services as well as corporate Back End Systems (ERP, CRM, HR and Business applications).

In detail these include:

Contact person of regional company parties for all IT topics (Relationship and Demand Manager)
Coordination of all business requirements with regional IT-BP of Global IT
Explanation and realization of corporate policies and accompanying harmonization projects (Gov.)
Together with regional BP of Global IT: development and implementation of medium-term IT Roadmap and architecture in area of responsibility
License Management , incl. support of Corporate License Manager
Responsible for local IT Budget, planning and run cost reduction
Project Management for small and medium-sized projects
Operating responsibility for company specific applications locally
Back up of Regional IT-BP during selection and technical supervision of local IT Service provider
Leading of internal IT teams in the area of responsibility
Preparation of local IT reporting on a quarterly period, and monthly for projects
Requirements

Technical or commercial studies or comparable standard
Extensive IT experience with main focus on applications like SAP, salesforce, O365 and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in the region
Experience in positions with IT responsibility
Experience in IT controlling and technical supervision of IT measures
Distinct ability to work in a team
Distinctive communication skills
Willingness to travel
Ability to work in Matrix organizations
Very good knowledge of English language
In addition:

Key priorities in ME:

Reestablishment of IT governance based on IT policy and closing of IT audit findings
Clear focus on IT security – setup and behaviors of employees (trainings etc.)
Clearing of ERP-Landscape for the region (e.g. retirement of PS1…)
Strengthen IT in region ME and close collaboration with GIT
Starting implementing an agile mindset within regional IT
