QA / QC Engineer - Dubai

ARCO Interiors is seeking an experienced QA / QC Engineer (Interior Fit-Out) to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on establishing, maintaining, and improving the project quality management system while ensuring all fit-out activities meet contractual and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented, maintained and followed across project processes.
• Prepare and control project quality documentation before project kickoff.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor and supervise all quality-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and apply inspection and testing procedures; perform inspections during site execution.
• Identify quality issues early, recommend corrective actions, and drive improvements.
• Verify that quality requirements are communicated to vendors and included in contractor submittals.
• Maintain accurate quality records and control documents (e.g., MAR, MIR, WIR).
• Create or update quality assurance plans as needed.
• Attend client quality meetings and manage quality-related correspondence with client representatives.
• Review qualifications and training of inspection personnel and ensure competency.
• Track and manage nonconformance reports (NCRs) until resolution.
• Support project closeout by controlling and archiving completion documents such as O&M manuals, warranty certificates, and T&C reports.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, specifically on fit-out projects.
• Proven track record working for a Fit-Out company is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of quality processes, inspection practices, and documentation for interior fit-out works.
Working Terms:
• Full-time, site-based role in Abu Dhabi with regular coordination across project teams.
• Will require attending client meetings and performing frequent site inspections.
