Pact Engineering is seeking a committed procurement professional to support our wastewater treatment projects at SAIF Zone. The role focuses on sourcing technical equipment, managing procurement processes end-to-end, and working closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
Designation: Procurement Officer
Location: SAIF Zone, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Source, evaluate and qualify suppliers for wastewater-treatment materials and services (pumps, valves, pipes, chemicals, instrumentation, etc.).
• Prepare and process purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and related procurement documentation.
• Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment conditions and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams for timely supply.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.
• Verify quality and technical specifications of procured items; raise and resolve technical queries with suppliers.
• Build and sustain strong supplier relationships to mitigate supply-chain risks.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, project and operations teams to align procurement with project timelines.
• Track deliveries, expedite where necessary and resolve logistics or supply-related issues.
• Keep abreast of market trends, pricing movements and regulatory requirements affecting procurement.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ procurement experience, ideally in wastewater, EPC or industrial project environments.
• Strong understanding of technical equipment used in wastewater treatment projects.
• Proficient in Tally and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• UAE-based candidates preferred.
