Procurement Manager - The Alain Mills Group (Sharjah, UAE)
Are you a procurement leader with a passion for the F&B industry?
The Alain Mills Group is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of procurement for our Hamriyah Freezone facility in Sharjah. You will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and securing the best quality products for our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and vendor performance evaluation.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and qualify reliable suppliers for both local and international requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and prioritize activities.
• Leverage your expertise in sourcing food and non-food categories, as well as manufacturing ingredients.
• Proactively monitor inventory levels and sales trends to prevent stockouts or excessive holding costs.
• Stay abreast of market trends and product availability to secure the best value without compromising quality or delivery.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management within the F&B industry.
• A proven track record of success in cost reduction, vendor relationship management, quality control, and inventory optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
