Plant Manager – (Food grade Packaging material manufacturing) - Sharjah

This role be responsible for managing the plant operations of a packaging materials manufacturing unit, where food grade packaging materials are manufactured in line with the FMCG quality standards and requirements.
The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant, mainly production and logistics, ensuring that the relevant policies and procedures are followed for meeting quality, safety and customer specifications and compliances

Responsibilities:
•Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed the stake holder expectations, while driving continuous improvement and optimization of all processes maximizing safety, quality, productivity and on time -shipping
•Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining the quality standards as required for a food grade packaging materials manufacturing plant
•Review and manage customer quotations and specifications
•Commit to plant safety procedures, quality standards in line with the accreditation requirements, facing external and internal audits as required
•Develop and implement standard operation processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
•In collaboration with the sales team, provide technical presentation to the clients, supporting business development
•Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
•Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, appraise, manage, and develop plant staff
•Address and resolve employees’ issues or grievances
•Stay up to date with latest plant management best practices and concepts
