Physical Education Teacher utilizes current strategies and theories to plan, organize and implement structured PE lessons for students with ASD for optimum performance and ability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field is required.
Knowledge of research-based best practices and interventions for students with disabilities in physical education.
Ability to analyze student data and develop lesson plans.
Ability to effectively develop and deliver content-specific professional learning.
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties

Implements developed curricula in flexibility, balance, strength, cardiovascular conditioning, and aquatics.
Responsible for the development of IEP's current performance and objectives.
Works/consults with the occupational as needed.
Conducts assessments, and generates IEP goals/objectives.
