Role Summary:
The Executive – Reward and Benefits is responsible for the payroll and administration functions in Rewards section. The role aims to improve its processes and ensure accurate and timely deliverance in accordance with the set standards and in adherence to DMCC Policies and Procedures. Provide an effective and efficient output of work to meet the demands made of the role by providing high quality service to all employees through proper coordination of healthy employer-employee relations. Contribute to the long-term development of the Rewards section and assist in all aspects of the work undertaken by the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain process and procedures for payroll and administration functions.
Contribute to the enhancement of HR Policies and Procedures.
Act as a focal point for Payroll and Administration, ensure requirements are met accurately and timely.
Respond to employee verification as required by concerned institutions in regard to the status of employee and their respective details.
Respond to HR related inquiries from employees and/or external parties.
Maintain communication with employees at all levels (answering queries, providing support).
Create new employee records in Oracle HRMS and ensure that records are correct and up to date.
Update the employees and dependents personal information, immigration related details (Visa, EID) and other employment related information in Oracle HRMS.
Update employment details changes in Oracle HRMS such as position title change, reporting lines to reflect the correct reporting lines in the system.
Maintain employee data base every month.
Overall responsibility for payroll processing and benefits administration
Enter, update and maintain individual employee salaries in Oracle HRMS; maintain accurate salary allocation of various cost centres.
Review all claims submitted, verify validity of supporting documents and ensure claims are within the set entitled eligibility as per the contract of employment and as aligned with the DMCC HR Policies and Procedures.
Enter monthly payroll entries (claims) in Oracle HRMS
Calculate monthly payroll pre-funding and inform Finance accordingly.
Maintain record of all reimbursements to ensure claims are within the set entitled eligibility.
Responsible for MIS and analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits.
Generate and review monthly costing report to ensure employees’ costs are allocated in the right cost centres
Generate month end payroll report and collate other reports and calculate the Cost to Company (CTC) for Property and Tea Centre as required by Finance department for costing and reporting purposes.
Generate month end payroll report and calculate the Cost to Company (CTC) for DGCX as required by Finance department for inter-company charges.
Complete exit formalities documentation
Calculate and process final settlement and ensure exit clearance requirements are met.
Terminate employee record of all leavers in Oracle HRMS.
Calculate yearly staff cost (current & manpower plan) to be included in the yearly budget for all departments and forward to Finance department accordingly.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
HR Qualifications preferred
At least 5 years of HR experience
