Patient Intake Specialist - Dubai

Understood Care is actively hiring a Patient Intake Specialist to join our growing remote team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in setting the tone for a positive and empowering care journey. Your work ensures a seamless intake experience and paves the way for successful patient-provider interactions.
Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly and warmly to incoming patient phone calls
• Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and clearly communicate our services
• Guide patients through the intake process and ensure their understanding
• Record key intake information accurately in internal systems
• Collaborate with MDs, NPs, and Care Advocates for effective patient handoffs
• Conduct follow-ups to confirm patients are fully onboarded and satisfied
Requirements:
• At least 3 years in a direct patient-facing or supportive healthcare role
• Solid understanding of Medicare and U.S. healthcare navigation
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency using EHR systems, CRMs, or other digital healthcare platforms
• Passion for equitable healthcare and supporting vulnerable populations
• Bilingual language skills (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) are highly desirable
