OPD Charge Nurse Required in Dubai
Responsible for leading, supervising and assisting all nursing staff, as well as providing administrative support and patient care under the direction of the nurse manager.
Assigning nurses and support staff to patients through staff competence basis.
Must be flexible able to prioritize and adapt during emergencies situations.
Works with the education team to develop and implement training courses to help educate and train all nurses and support staff within HS.
Monitors staff performance, providing regular constructive feedback, coaching, guidance and support to tam members on the shift.
In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, shares in the responsibility of formal evaluation of staff performance and achievement of annual performance goals
Documents the performance of nurses, perform evaluations and counsel nurses on unsatisfactory performance, under the direction of the nurse manager.
Meet with the nurse manager on a daily basis to discuss personnel and administrative issues and address and solve any related to staff, patients, families.
Perform administrative duties including creating schedules, maintain adequate supplies and informing staff pf changes to protocol.
Demonstrates critical thinking and provides leadership in conflict management and problem solving.
Demonstrates a professional commitment to patients, families and fellow nursing staff.
Ensures the nursing staff works within their capacity, experience, training and scope of practice.
Participates as assigned on committees, working groups and other organization activities.
Management of the Clinics in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
Monitors and coordinates effective and efficient utilization of human resources, consumables and equipment.
Initiates or participates in Nursing and or other disciplines research that contributes to continual improvement in standards of care for patients at HS.
Obtains accredited and non-accredited Continuing Nursing Education.
Completes all HS mandatory, core and unit specific competencies based on area of designation; and demonstrated ongoing competence.
Demonstrates evidence of ongoing professional development in leadership and management.
