Nursery Teacher Required in Dubai

Qualifications:

• University degree in Early childhood/ education.

• University degree on other specialization combined by a certified professional certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level3).

• High School degree combined by a certified professional certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 3), Or practical experience in early childhood care or education for at least two years.

• speaks English (Japanese and/or Arabic is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to children.

• Demonstrate activities to children.

• Arrange indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.

• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.

• Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration.

• Organize and label materials, and display students' work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.

• Provide a variety of materials and resources for children in to explore, manipulate, and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play.

• Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.

• Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.

• Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.

• Teach proper eating habits and personal hygiene.

• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

• To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.

• To be responsible for the welfare of all children in your designated room, organizing systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

• To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – in accordance with child protection and whistleblowing policies.

• To work in partnership with all parents/caretakers, building and maintaining relationships that encourage trust, open communication and involvement in nursery life.

• To attend reasonable out-of-working-hours activities, including training, staff meetings, parents evenings and special events.

• To respect and value all colleagues, children and parents, encouraging a positive and diverse working environment.
