Position Overview

IAT is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Mathematics Instructor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality, application-oriented mathematics education that supports IAT’s advanced engineering and technology programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.

- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in higher education institutions where English is the medium of instruction.

- Publication record, with at least five papers published in indexed or peer-reviewed journals (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.).

- Proven ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate mathematics courses, such as: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, or related computational and mathematical modeling areas.

- Demonstrated experience in using LMS, modern teaching tools and methodologies, including technology-enhanced and outcome-based education (OBE) approaches.

- Strong commitment to student-centered learning, innovation, and academic excellence.

- Knowledge of ABET accreditation or experience teaching.

- Participation in curriculum design, academic advising, and supervision of student projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach mathematics and AI-related subjects as required by the department.

- Develop course materials, assessments, and instructional resources aligned with applied learning outcomes.

- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities.

- Engage in research, publications, and continuous professional development.

- Collaborate with other faculty and support institutional and student initiatives.
