Junior Repo Broker Required in Dubai

International brokerage company with offices in Europe and Asia look for a dynamic individual to join successful global team.

A successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of the financial markets and be able to thrive in a dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learning Repo broking from a Senior broker based in Dubai

• Assisting him in daily tasks such as middle office queries, provide institutional clients with market color, feedback, helping to develop internal Excel spreadsheets

• Developing relationships and start trading repo with clients within weeks

• Focus on Credit Repo, EM Sovs. Specials and GC

• Coverage: Middle East, European and US Banks

• Report to the Senior Repo Broker based in Dubai and the Global Head of Repo based in Hong Kong

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of relevant experience in a Front office environment (Broking or banks). Ideally on Fixed Income products

• Any experience on Repo product is a plus

• University degree holder (or comparable) with a good understanding of financial markets

• Excellent communication, negotiation skills

• Detail oriented with proven numerical ability

• Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks, work under pressure

• Self-motivated and energetic

• Strong team player

• Entrepreneur spirit

• Flexibility to work different time zones to cover Europe afternoon, US morning

• Good proficiency with Bloomberg and Excel. VBA is a plus

• Fluency in English, any other languages are a plus
