Junior Data Engineer Required in Dubai
GymNation is seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Junior Data Engineer. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about data but starting out in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, with an enthusiasm for learning, trying new things and growing in a dynamic and fun work environment!

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Actively participate in all aspects of the data lifecycle, including high-level design, architecture definition, implementation, testing, and deployment.
•⁠ ⁠Curate complex datasets, preparing them for ML modelling or analytical work.
•⁠ ⁠Design and build robust ETL pipelines to integrate data from a diverse array of sources.
•⁠ ⁠Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data solutions.
•⁠ ⁠Implement and manage solutions on cloud platforms, optimizing for efficiency and scalability.
•⁠ ⁠Develop database designs with automations and run database routine maintenance.

Must-Have Skills:

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of Python
•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of SQL
•⁠ ⁠Understanding of using/creating API endpoints and webhooks
•⁠ ⁠Excellent command of the English language
•⁠ ⁠University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar

Bonus Points for:

•⁠ ⁠Completion of relevant internships, particularly in data engineering or related fields.
•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of relational databases.
•⁠ ⁠Experience with ML models and familiarity with AI concepts.
•⁠ ⁠Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI (we use Tableau).
