Junior Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai

We at IIQAF are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial and accounting activities, such as auditing, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and adhering to internal standards. You must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and have the capability and drive to take ownership of the accounting department and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit financial statements and other related documents
Reconcile accounts and prepare reports
Develop, analyze and reconcile accounting documents such as budget reports
Analyze account detail and prepare journal entries
Assist in the preparation of year-end audit working papers
Develop and update internal control procedures
Prepare financial analysis to assist with internal and external reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoices and daily transactions
Prepare documents for electronic filing

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2 years of related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel
