Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

We are currently looking for an Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Primary responsibilities:

Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Hands on with UAE VAT implementation experience (Input VAT & Output VAT)
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist Senior Accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Assist in maintaining the books of accounts and records and other accounting related functions
Creating invoices and POs

Requirements & Qualifications:

1-2 years' work experience in an accounting role
Bachelor’s in accounting, finance or relevant degree. Additional certification is a plus (CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
Strong competence in Microsoft applications
Meeting all deadlines, being flexible to complete all necessary & ad hoc task
Strong attention to detail and good analytical and communication skills
Experience with accounting software - QuickBooks is preferable
Attention to details
Strong analytical ability and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
