Jr. Exchange Officer - Remote - Dubai

Position Summary
The Jr. Exchange Officer will handle the administration and facilitation of 1031 exchanges for local and national clients. You will interact directly with clients, advisors, and escrow/closing teams to prepare and process exchange documentation, monitor timelines, and ensure compliance with exchange rules. This role is fully remote and operates on Central Standard Time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop working knowledge of 1031 exchange regulations and respond to client inquiries.
• Review purchase agreements, title reports, and closing documents to prepare exchange paperwork for relinquished and replacement property closings.
• Open and manage exchange files, monitor critical deadlines, and ensure the exchange workflow moves timely from intake to closing.
• Handle accounting tasks for exchange files including funds acceptance and disbursement in accordance with 1031 rules.
• Review and approve estimated closing statements and collect fee income and final signed documentation.
• Track and reconcile exchange-related transactions and maintain accurate file documentation.
• Provide troubleshooting and customer service for exchange participants and coordinate with sales teams to support business development.
Process & Quality Control
• Monitor transaction timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain compliance with internal procedures and accounting policies.
• Ensure exchange documentation is complete and organized for audits or reviews.
Customer Service & Business Development
• Build strong client relationships and follow up with existing and prospective clients to grow business.
• Collaborate with managers and sales representatives to resolve issues and identify expansion opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum three years’ experience in real estate, escrow, or 1031 exchanges preferred but not strictly required.
• Relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, customer service, or sales is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and accuracy in data entry and basic math.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate across teams.
Nice-to-have / Additional Qualifications
• Prior supervisory or training experience (if applicable).
• Familiarity with title or escrow systems and industry-specific software.
Pay Range
• $30.14 – $40.18 per hour. This hiring range is an estimate of base pay at time of posting and will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
