Role: Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
 Understanding the business requirements from functional design/business requirement documents
 Requirements walkthrough with client/business
 Onsite – Offshore co-ordination
 Writing Test Scenarios for the Business requirements after analysis
 Writing test scripts and getting business approval
 Upload test cases in ALM for execution, future reference and effective tracking of scenarios
 Test data mining & Test execution using HPQC
 Defect tracking,RTM,Test Evaluation Summary
 Participate in the team meetings to discuss the issues arising out of testing
 Participate in status meetings to report issues and to get the clarifications
 Performing end-to-end testing of application
 Responsible for Negative Testing, Positive Testing and System Testing
 Track the Bugs, Pass-Fail test cases and report on daily status
 Generated test cases for client end testing
 Proper Communication with the Developers on all the Phases of the project
 Support developers in understanding the requirements from a business perspective to assure quality of the product
