IT Technical Specialist Required in Dubai

We are on the lookout for a young and dynamic Technical Specialist based out of Abu Dhabi or Dubai and reporting to the Director. The successful candidate will develop with the company and work closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to help showcase and grow the organization’s presence and technology across the Middle East & Africa. The job holder will work closely with the BDM to expand sales of solutions into specified markets by running pre- and post-sales technical sessions with new and existing partners as well as help with integration of our solutions through alliances with other technology vendors.

The Responsibilities:

Work independently to meet or exceed assigned objectives and KPIs.
Work closely with the channel on large deals.
Drive high levels of partner pre- & post-sales productivity by educating channel partners.
Technical presentations & field calls with partners.
Complete technical implementation of customer projects when needed.
Programming of customer-specific modules.
After-sales support for customers.
Cooperation with specialists from other vendors, partners and the customers.
Support partners in resolving and preventing customer issues and complaints and implement preventative steps so that such issues do not recur.
Collect customer feedback on products and services as well as relating to partner’s performance.

The Required Skills & Experience:

Educated to BSc degree level in Computer Science.
Highly motivated and ambitious, independent, analytical and solution-oriented in their approach.
2-4 Years of proven pre-sales and/or development experience.
Knowledge of information management software and services.
Understands modern software architecture (webservices, gRPC) and modern web technology (REST, JSON, IIS).
Good operating system knowledge (Windows and Linux) and good knowledge of databases
Programming skills (Java).
Familiar with regular expressions and XML structures.
Basic understanding of neural networks and machine learning is a plus.
Ability to plan and set priorities to produce measurable results.
Good organizational skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
Demonstrate a very good track record in achieving targets and completing technical work on time and within budgets.
Excellent communication skills and able to deliver presentations with confidence.
