IT Officer Required in Dubai

Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage Active Directory and NAS servers making sure backups are done
- Experience administering O365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint environment
- Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility
- New user setup and orientation including installing and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, network printing, etc.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Generate Timesheet reports and creating user accounts
- Provide onsite and remote support to client users
- Install Autodesk and other Design related soft wares such as Lumion , Adobe Products, Rhino, etc

Requirements and skills

- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Knowledge in Firewall and VPN administration
- Knowledge in Avaya IP office 500 administration
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills

- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
