Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join a dynamic team. This critical role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of at least five years in a managerial IT role in retail, preferably in the Food and Beverage sector.

Areas of Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for board inquiries regarding IT matters.
Manage and oversee all IT operations, including network security, data management, and hardware and software support for implementing and maintaining the POS system and Microsoft server infrastructure.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
Coordinate with other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
Prepare and manage the IT department's budget.
Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements relevant to the retail industry.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance technology, such as mobile applications, POS, and ERP systems.
Implement, execute, and control CCTV systems.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new vendor analysis and selection according to business needs and perform critical analyses of current vendors to assess performance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company objectives.
Actively negotiate contracts with both existing and prospective vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Continuously review and manage vendor relationships throughout the duration of agreements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Accredited certifications in Information Technology.
Minimum of (5) Five years in a managerial IT role in retail, preferably in the Food and Beverage sector. (MUST)
Strong knowledge of relevant retail technologies.
Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse IT team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
