About The Organization And Position

Well known and respected global financial services firm is searching for an experienced IT Project Manager / Application developer to join their growing team in the Dubai office.

The IT Project Manager / Application Developer will provide day to day management of the IT environment for Company including the coordination and oversight of projects relating to system development and/or equipment. This role is responsible for leading IT projects efficiently and effectively and supporting the Company’s users with Company communication and IT infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization, including software applications, network, phone systems and end-user computers
Manage multiple cloud based and hosted systems including Microsoft Azure;
Optimize Microsoft 365 use: assessment of current use and challenges;
Manage communications and working relationships between IT and other departments within the organization;
Provide help desk and technical services assistance.
Design, develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for all areas of information technology to assure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance;
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assure compliance;
Implement, maintain, and ensure maximum uptime for telephone and audiovisual systems;
Conduct gap analysis to develop requirements, outlines, budgets, and schedules for information technology projects;
Proactively drive the assigned projects from conception to completion;
Serve as the technical project manager for system implementation projects;
Bring consistency to project execution and life cycle management of systems;

Experience

Must have the right to work in Dubai
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or closely related field.
8+ years’ experience designing and developing web applications using .NET, C#, Angular/React
Strong in front-end technologies – CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks
Experience developing REST APIs
Experience with Azure cloud technologies
