IT Audit Manager Required in Dubai
Role Purpose:
Perform and deliver IT Audit engagements including IT Applications, Infrastructure, Governance, Operations, Information Security, Compliance, and Platform Reviews, etc. Manage the audit planning, fieldwork, report writing, maintenance of audit working papers and follow up of corrective action plans.
Responsibilities
Design and execute IT internal audits covering applications, information security, IT infrastructure, etc. and ensure work is performed in accordance with IIA standards and internal policies and procedures.
Prepare IT audit work programs and working papers to document testing and work done and to ensure clear identification of risks and issues, validating appropriateness of fieldwork testing, and sign-off on audit results.
Provide consulting advise in IT infrastructure/applications within the Internal Audit team and independent assurance on key initiatives/projects.
Identify key IT & cybersecurity risks, test and evaluate controls, identify issues, develop practical and value-added recommendations to improve the control environment and process efficiencies.
Review, discuss on draft issues or observations with key partners, identify compensating controls, and evaluate the appropriate action plan prior to finalizing the audit report.
Draft IT audit reports based on work performed directly and submit it to the line Manager.
Conduct final exit meeting with management and agree on corrective action plan with timelines.
Conduct follow-up reviews, validation on the corrective action plans completed by management.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, IS, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, IT Governance, or related field.
Healthcare experience is a plus
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Additional Professional qualifications such as CISSP or similar are an advantage
Strong audit report writing skills
Advanced skills in Oracle/ SAP, Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Solid technical skills and understanding of information systems security and controls across a wide range of systems including operating systems and database, applications, and technology tools
IIA and/or public auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
Ability to analyze data and familiarity with Audit Data analytical tools
