Investment Analyst Required in Dubai

Al Ramz Corporation P.J.S.C. is seeking for an Investment Analyst for our Asset Management Department who will be responsible for collecting information, perform research and analyze assets, such as stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities and indices on public and private markets and potential companies within a specific industry to make recommendations regarding an investment strategy. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing the financial status of the client and develop customized financial plans for the clients that will assist in meeting their financial goals and objectives. Candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in financial and stock market trading business. Incumbent to demonstrate in-depth proficiency in research-related works as well as good data collection, analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical and administrative support in the development and utilization of quantitative tools to produce timely reports for use of various end-users such as financial models and projections as well as the development of quantitative and fundamental investment management processes.
Determine relevant benchmarks and develop custom benchmarks, if necessary.
Analyze economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investments
Provide the Fund Manager informational or statistical responses through data gathering, organizing, and analyzing relevant data, tables, graphs, and charts.
Review reports, papers, memos, and articles to ensure proper use of data and offer statistical consultation, and articulate to the fund manager about the risk or payoff for each recommendation.
Analyze and interpret company accounts, profit and loss statements, and cash flow information and draft financial research summaries.
Prepare reports related to risk assessment, and variances and recommend alternatives as needed.
Review narrative and statistical information received from internal and external sources; confer with agencies and others to interpret research information received; write reports such as statistical studies, narrative reports, and articles for publication, including summary tables, graphs, and charts; summarize data into various formats and drafts short reports, simple research monographs and/or sections of major reports.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating the client investment portfolios as well as the reports related to their investments.
Assist the Fund Manager in monitoring all investments and drawing conclusions of former investments to derive information for future investment plans.
Assist asset management representatives regarding the use and utilization of models, tools, systems, and research techniques.
Review and study the financial status of the client and develop customized financial plans for the clients that will assist in meeting their financial goals and objectives
In coordination with the Fund Manager, assist in developing research products tailored for all investors/clients of Al Ramz.
Provide input into product development within the investment management product range and support the launch process.

Qualifications:

Mandatory to hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics.
Should be a candidate or a CFA charter holder
Minimum two (2) years of experience in market research and security analysis or a similar role in a financial institution.

Competencies/ Skills:

Strong financial and stock market trading business technical knowledge
In-depth proficiency in research related works
Analytical and quantitative skills
Good communication skills both oral and written
High-level understanding of various technical and fundamental research techniques
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and presentation
Reliable team player who is attentive to details.
