Inventory Data Entry Clerk — Remote (Reports to Inventory Manager)
ValueAdd Research and Analytics Solutions LLP is looking for a meticulous Inventory Data Entry Clerk to support our remote inventory operations. You will be responsible for keeping inventory records accurate and up to date, assisting with audit activities, and generating routine reports that help the team make informed decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, and takes pride in accuracy and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and update inventory records in the company system promptly and accurately.
• Verify completeness of data and correct any discrepancies discovered during entry.
• Assist with regular physical or system audits to confirm inventory levels.
• Communicate with colleagues to investigate and resolve inconsistencies or missing information.
• Produce periodic reports on inventory status, movements, and trends for management review.
• Follow established processes and maintain clear documentation of data changes and corrections.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior experience in data entry or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas) and comfortable learning other data-entry tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with a remote team.
