Internal Auditor Required in Dubai

JOB PURPOSE-

To perform day-to-day internal auditing of internal controls and business practices of Operations by providing inputs and participation in phases(execution and reporting) of assignments in order to safeguard Bank's internal controls through the implementation of proper internal audit programs.

Key Accountabilities-

Assist in audits of operational related activities of Branches/Head office and any ad hoc assignments
Prepare reports based on findings of audit and communicate risks effectively to the concerned departments and branches
Analyze and scrutinize raw data to prepare reports
Assist in preparing and documenting Audit objectives for Final Audit
Evaluate risks and suggest improvements to the internal policies, process and SOP
Implement methodologies of Audit approved by the bank
Report to the management on the adequacy of internal controls (like forms, process etc.)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

-Minimum Qualifications-

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business Administration or any relevant subject
relevant professional certificate/degree relating to accounting (e.g. CIA/CA/CPA/ACCA) would be an advantage.
Minimum Experience-

5-10 years of relevant experience in Audit function
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes-

Knowledge of internal Audit methodologies and standards
Understanding of the Audit professional code of conduct
Audit reporting skills
Knowledge of accounting standards
Good computer and MS office skills
Good written and spoken communication
Ability to work well in a team and in multicultural environment
Knowledge of corporate Banking products
Problem Solving and analytical skills
