Internal Auditor Required in Dubai

The Internal Auditor ensures successful completion of assigned audit engagements, from start to finish, inclusive of preplanning and wrap-up activities. Applies risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered and identifies any potential issues. Communicate identified issues with the Head of Internal Audit to ensure any potential concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

2-3 years of internal audit or related (external audit or internal controls) experience.
Understanding of key risks and controls with core audit areas (e.g. procurement, cash management, inventories, human resources, payroll, etc.)
Analytical skills and ability to collect and analyze data, evaluate information and systems and draw logical conclusions and interpretation of data.
Familiarity in conducting risk assessments and preparing internal audit plans.
Ability to draft internal audit reports and participate in presentations.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Understanding of the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the ability to fully comply with IIA standards.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, finance, or related field.
A professional qualification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent from a recognized international accounting/auditing body.is strongly preferred.
Healthcare and/or Big 4 experience is a plus.
