Information Technology Support Engineer Required in Dubai
The IT Support Engineer work as part of the IT Infrastructure Team, a division of the IT department, to ensure that the service to the Company users is delivered accordingly to the defined standards.
According to the business needs, the IT Help Desk Engineer will have to be hands on and to take part from the 1st to the 3rd level support tasks performed within the IT Infrastructure Team.
MAIN TASKS
Perform the IT Help Desk Officer such as, but not limited to: Taking calls, emails and cases from end-users that need assistance; Investigating user problems and identifying their source; Troubleshooting applications to identify possible solutions; Coordinating daily requests with the other IT divisions.
• Participate in all IT Infrastructure Projects/Tasks: Microsoft Azure and O365 Administration
• Follow up on identified areas of improvement, research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks and business processes: Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft PowerShell scripting, Microsoft SQL queries
• Manage and updates the asset inventories
• Develop, writes and maintains end-user documentation / processes as per the Company best practices
• Provide Company user feedback to the appropriate internal teams
• Ensure that IT policies are respected and followed within the company
• Focus on continuous process improvement and user satisfaction by increasing IT’s value through innovation and emerging technologies
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-users on the network
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or any related field dealing with Technology/Engineering.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900 ) and/or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position with an up to date knowledge
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
• Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience on- site and remotely
• Able to multi-task and prioritize workload according to company priorities and critical issues
• Strong documentation skills
IT SKILLS
• Up to date working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
• Strong background in Microsoft Azure: IaaS/PaaS mainly but an extended knowledge to all Azure Services is a plus
• Previous experience in any of the following Platforms: Microsoft Power App, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft DevOps
• A daily practice of Microsoft Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and IT Hardware (Desktop, Laptop, Printer, mobile devices, network equipment)
