Information Technology Specialist Required in Dubai

Maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network, deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation .

Administer all the developments of IT systems and applications, and company’s network. (SQL, MS GP 2015 Great Plains Dynamics/ MS Dynamics, web development, Crystal Reports, CRM, Macros, MS exchange Server VOIP).

Main Duties

Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade networks and servers
Install and integrate new hardware and applications
Support and administer third-party applications
Install and configure systems such as supports GP 2015 ERP applications or Asset Management applications, CRM and Intranet etc…
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Contribute to and maintain system standards.
Ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, output, and latency) and test for weaknesses
Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
Resolve problems reported by end user
Define network policies and procedures
Specify system requirements and design solutions
Research and make recommendations on server system administration
Ensures software applications are functioning properly & securely
Ensures software applications are being used according to predefined rules
Works on the integration of existing software solutions
Works closely with other departments for collaborating IT projects.
Works on prioritizing needs, attending technical and functional problems.

Education and Other Qualifications

Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in a related position

Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access), SQL Administration, Microsoft Exchange Administration, Crystal Reports, Cisco, CCTV, Biometric, CRM

Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English

Competencies

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a must
Knowledge of office and administrative practices related to marketing is a plus
