The Opportunity

IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our IT Procurement Team in Dubai. This position will be part of the IT Procurement team within Procurement & Supply Chain, which serves a vital role in the realization of strategic and operational goals of Group IT. Responsible for coordinating & delivering activities in IT sourcing strategies planning & execution, bidding events, negotiating & managing contracts, supplier relationship management and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of category plans and sourcing activities
Due diligence of requirements and qualitative investigation of options for fulfilling the requirements including potential sources of supply
Leverage technology/ product knowledge & supply markets intelligence
Lead procurement projects independently and deliver pre-defined outcomes
Negotiate pricing and contracts with the suppliers
Effectively monitoring & managing contracts life cycle including review of contractual compliance of the suppliers
Develop and drive supplier scorecards to monitor supplier performance on ongoing basis and implement improvements to achieve desired business outcomes
Continuously look for innovative commercial models and new technologies that result in cost optimization & efficiency
Track and report key functional metrics
Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and establish strong partnership with stakeholders
Ensure that all procurement activity is carried out in line with Group Procurement & Supply Chain governance principles

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain/or related discipline.
Advanced Specialist Master’s, MBA and/ or relevant professional certifications, e.g., Certified Purchaser (CIPS) will be an asset.
8+ years relevant experience in IT Procurement including managing sourcing projects, negotiations, contract management, supplier management and RFx process.
