Information Technology Field Operations Engineer Required in Dubai

The Purpose of this position is to enable and ensure business demands are fully fulfilled, enable all operational sourcing requirements, and managing internal project tracking and measuring technical related Service Operations vendor supports & reporting in alignment with operation Team, L1 and L2 and accordingly provide risk assessments and recommendations in case of non-adherence.

Key accountabilities

1. Managing operations spare parts, logistics and redundancy tools.

2. Responsible for NFO modernization projects (smart meter, AC upgrade, decommissioning of legacy access systems,…etc.).

3. Manage the department RFP/RFQ/PID/CW/BC/CR/Contract management & amendment of projects. Assist management through requirements. RFP review and submission, completed proposal evaluations and serving as the primary contact for Department.

4. Responsible to raise PR’ (purchase Request) on daily/monthly basis as per sourcing approval & BPO under CAPEX &OPEX;budget Line.

5. Responsible to coordinate with the approver on ERP (Application) regarding queries on PO release.

6. Taking decisions and coordinating with sourcing/Project control team to process the purchase requests in system.

7. Submission of Report to management regarding PO consumption for all ongoing projects.

8. Review operational supports Goods and services and coordinate with vendors/suppliers (in association with procurements)

9. Responsible to verify monthly invoices (DG, Fueling, Consumables, and Batteries, Rectifier, UPS, FLM services, Power connections,) to raise the GSRN (Good & Services Received Note) for the process payment release to vendor.

10. Preparing monthly and yearly reports of budgets as per PO releases.

11. Develop weekly/monthly performance reports that monitors and highlights major technical risks, breaches and working closely with FLM to take the right corrective action.

12. Tracking security issues on daily/monthly basis in the network and responsible to follow for the resolution on urgent.

13. Responsible to coordinate with the warehouse team to release/deliver the spares (Batteries, Rectifier & UPS) by submitting required documents (Move orders, MIRF, Delivery note and MTF).

14. Implementation, daily supervision and Tracking of Operational Efficiency Initiatives according to Project Implementation plan.

15. Timely meetings with vendors and internal stake holders to ensure that project is according to the agreed schedule and guidelines.

16. Escalate problems and delays to client for timely resolution.

17. Responsible to monitor operational activities of fueling and Generator to overcome outages and maintain the KPI’s of networks.

18. Leading the FLM teams in any regarding spares, Gen/set, PM&CM;, overhauling, transmission and powers.

19. Responsible to approve access requests from all service operations for the sites survey.

20. Coordination with client, management, teams and all technical staff for the stability of networks.

21.Facilitate delivery for internal projects within Service Operations and ensure timely delivery as per agreed plan

22. Take personal responsibility for developing key internal and external partner relations.

Minimum experience:

· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications / hi-tech industry

· Minimum 5 years of experience as managerial roles in telecommunications industry

· Expert understanding of managing performance problems related to mission critical infrastructure

Minimum education:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering / Information Technology Sciences/Telecom engineering

· Master’s degree preferred
