About the Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced IT Business Partner to join Emirates Transport. The role is the primary point of contact for business executives and managers and serves as the strategic interface for IT with the business units or functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management.

Key Accountabilities:

Engages with BU Function Heads to understand the business, identify technology needs, and develop, implement & deliver business solutions in collaboration with the internal IT team and external vendors.
Communicates business needs with the appropriate internal/external IT solutions team to gain alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
Develops and implements solution roadmaps and ensures successful introductions across the organization and with customers.
Collaborates with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with organizational standards.
Gathers high-level business requirements, and defines scope during initial discovery by conducting meetings/interviews and facilitating large group / cross-functional sessions with business partners.
Works with external vendors for the development of IT applications and provides details on cost, value, and opportunity to optimize IT spending (initiatives and support services).
Leads the development of business cases requiring IT-based and monitors that the IT delivery is meeting the business unit’s expectations.
Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where conflicts / synergies exist between technologies and business functions.
Utilize the appropriate technologies and ensure that customers have the solutions they need, when they need them, and in the media best suited to their requirements.
Participate in strategic and budgetary planning processes, prepare and administer work unit operating budgets; provide recommendations on desired policies and goals.
Partners with HR, co-operate and facilitates QSHE, and adheres to regulatory and other complaints.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree / Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration
Specialized Qualifications as a plus:

New Product Development Professional (NPDP) Certification offered by the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) is desirable.

Experience and Skills Set:

5+ years of experience in a process-improvement in a relevant field
IT and business with exposure to various technical environments and business segments
Demonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications
Mobility as a Service (MaaS) technologies and concepts
Block Chain technologies and concepts
Application, development, and support of IoT technologies & Robotic Business Automation (RPA) Platforms
Prior experience in IT technologies and new platforms such as ML and AI technologies
IT Contract Costing
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English
