Our Client is a successful fund management company focused on investing, financing, and developing renewable projects in emerging markets - the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
Role Profile:
Responsible for developing and implementing people strategies that support the Company across the areas of recruitment, induction, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, talent development, organisational design, and HR governance. Manage the day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities
Ability to deliver key HR projects
Develops strong working relations with management and staff, providing advice, guidance and coaching
Accountable for the development, implementation and administration of HR policies, programmes and practices
Develops and monitors HR annual budget
Establishes and leads staffing practices and procedures necessary to recruit, select and retain an effective team
Develops and implements training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future
On-boarding
Plans, develops, implements, and administers programs, and procedures to help align staff with the strategic goals of the company
Develop and implement company-wide performance management and compensation and benefits system/structure
Ensures the provisions of an employee-centric and cost-effective benefits plan
Formulates and recommends HR policies and objectives for the company that will establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation that complies with policies, procedures and laws
Manages all recruitment activities across the organisation
Qualifications, Experience and Job-Specific Skills
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree and qualification in HR such as CIPD or equivalent experience
8-10 years experience in HR
Strong HR generalist willing to be operationally focused
Experience within the Private Equity sector
Previous experience in emerging markets in META is desirable
Ability to work successfully in multicultural teams
Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
High level of interpersonal and diplomacy skills
Ability to devise and deliver key projects
Results and people oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Fluency in a second language such as Arabic is desirable
Experience within Renewable Energy, Utilities and/or Infrastructure sectors is preferred
