A leading off-price retailer of fashion and homeware company based in United Arab Emirates and who serve over six markets across the Middle East and Europe, is looking for a potential HR Manager to join our growing team.
Job Description
Role Purpose:
The HR Manager is responsible for all the HR activities taking place in our company and forecast the hiring needs. He/ she is liable to supervise the HR process starting from the recruitment, acquisition, total rewards, talent performance and learning and development. The HR Manager is accountable to connect executives with employees, build an employer brand, improve employee engagement and build strategic talent resources plans.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource activities as per UAE and all countries law.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Conduct investigations, maintain record and represent the company as required.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Maintain employee benefits programs and inform all the team about the benefits by studying and assessing advantage needs and trend; as well as, recommended benefit programs to management.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system.
Review professional publications; As well as, establish personal/ professional networks for the sake of the business growth.
Develop new techniques in the recruitment, selection, orientation, talent performance, Visa and L&D departments.
Manage reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
Qualifications:
8 years plus of experience in the 4 HR divisions; retail experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Human resources management or equivalent; Master degree is a plus.
Proven working experience as HR Manager or another HR Executive.
People oriented and results driven.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
