Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant field, have a NEBOSH certification, and possess 2-3 years of experience in the Middle East. This role involves ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safety culture in all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across the site to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance, including accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Provide training to staff on safety standards, protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Assist in preparing safety documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the point of contact for safety-related issues and collaborate with management to improve safety practices.
Requirements:
• NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) is a must.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
