One of our key clients, a well-established Insurance brokerage Firm, is currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join their team in Dubai
Overall Role:
Support the CEO in leading and assisting management of the organisation in achieving the best fit between its organisational structure and its business model.
Contribute in the formulation of the overall strategy of HR department, to achieve set objectives and future growth visions.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of latest HR development methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and employees within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human resources
1.1. Writing and updating of HR policies and Procedures;
1.2. Draft employment contract for new joiners;
1.3. Ensure where required all pre-employment screening is carried out;
1.4. Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires;
1.5. Preparation and delivery of Company's annual appraisal process;
1.6. Process employee claims involving performance issues and harassment.
1.7. Prepare and update standard letters and general correspondence;
1.8. Develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
1.9. Motivate employees through special events and incentive programs;
1.10. Prepare/update staff handbook;
1.11. Advise on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
1.12. Undertake regular salary reviews;
1.13. Interpret and advise on employment law;
1.14. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects;
1.15. Manage employee disputes by employing conflict resolution techniques;
1.16. Maintain human resources regulatory compliance with local, state and federal laws;
2. Compliance
2.1. Keep up to date with any Regulations and legislation issued by UAE Central Bank, Insurance Authority, Dubai Health Authority and any other applicable government entity;
2.2. Attend AML Webinars/Trainings if required and takes notes;
2.3. Identify and report suspicious financial circumstances or transactions;
2.4. Assist and support the Head of Compliance and Legal developing and delivering compliance program and promoting compliance culture;
2.5. Create and update the KYC forms;
2.6. Ongoing screening of new and existing clients;
2.7. Acting as a first point of contact of compliance concerns;
2.8. Follow up and keep the insurers / clients / partners KYC up to date;
2.9. Reporting compliance issues and recommending changes;
2.10. Help in creating, developing and implementing an effective culture of compliance;
2.11. Performing other duties as assigned by the HOC;
