1. Job Purpose

Perform as internal people-oriented consultant to the business units’ line managers and SC Human capital Stakeholders.
Serve as a culture change agent in collaboration with HR director to initiate and successfully implement key HR organizational development projects.
Promote a sustained learning environment to support HR director and line managers in building people capability and manage talents.
2. Key Account abilities:

Support the HR & Admin director in aligning the HR department’s financial objectives with SHARJAH CO-OP.
Assist the HR & Admin director in preparing the annual HR department’s budget.
Systematically collect all information related to SHARJAH CO-OP manpower plan and yearly intake plan as well as suggest and implement improvement initiatives to optimize the cost of SHARJSH CO-OP human capital.
Create and design a workload mechanism to measure the current business units and employees’ productivity and suggest and implement cost effective solutions that have direct impact on profitability.
Plan and coordinate SHARJAH CO-OP compensation, benefit packages, incentives, rewards, bonus structures efficiently in alignment with UAE labor law, labor market benchmarking and SHARJAH CO-OP policies and procedures as instructed by the HR & Admin Director to attract, develop, and retain talents.
Build strong rapport and effective relationships with SHARJA CO-OP management team to provide HR advice and recommendations across the full range of workforce issues and to assist in driving the business forward.
Influence and empower line managers in managing their human capital by conducting coaching and awareness sessions related to team performance management, motivational techniques, defining team learning gaps, defining high potentials and succession planning.
Maintain credible relationship with key stakeholders to successfully develop and implement the Human resources management systems.
Provide coaching sessions and mentoring when needed to HR team to support them in achieving their annual objectives and/ or improving HR internal processes.
Collaborate with external consultants when need to implement big scale HR organizational development projects
Develop the HR strategic plan and yearly implementation plan in alignment with the organizational strategic goals and in collaboration with the HR & Admin director.
Provide consultation to Human resources team regarding human resources good practices and latest trends to be considered in the future.
Assist the HR & Admin Director in designing and executing efficient and effectives HR strategies.
Collaborate with HR & Amin director to evaluate the yearly implementation plan at the end of each year, define the performance gap and suggest improvements in the next plan.
Collect and analyze value-added data, market information to justify strategy considerations and support the decision-making process related to HR strategy planning and implementation.
Initiate and manage key human resources management organizational development projects.
Facilitate the change to smoothen the resistance to change phase when HR transformational initiatives are implemented.
Manage major human resources projects and provide a strategic overview and insightful recommendations regarding the impact of this new change on business processes now and in the future.
Rapidly respond with sustained solutions to sudden business needs related to human resources management
Organization Structure
Assess the current SHARJAH CO-OP organization’s structure and organization charts and suggest improvement changes when needed considering the job design process, delegation, lines of authority and number of direct reports.
Review the work processes, accountabilities, and any other related critical information to update the positions titles and organization charts accordingly.
Create agile organization structure and new organizations charts when needed that rapidly respond to business needs for expansion and/ or cost optimization.
Define new roles and assess the current ones to align the responsibilities assigned to the right position title and business unit.
Ensure that all position titles and business units are located accurately as per the approved organization structure and determine how an organization operates.
Regularly evaluate internal Human Resources policies and procedures and suggest improvement action when needed.
Align Human resources policies and procedures with SHARJAH CO-OP strategy, current and future business needs.
Design, improve and implement SHARJAH CO-OP Emiratization policies and procedures.
Create various human resources management procedures, systems, and processes in alignment with SHARJHA CO-OP internal regulations and UAE labor law.
Assess the impact of applying the newly recommended HR policies and procedures on human capital behavior, business units’ interests and the efficiency & effectiveness of internal HR processes.
Prepare guidelines and end users’ manuals to simplify the human resources policies and procedures and share it with all concerned stakeholders.
Revise line managers’ complaints about human resources management processes & procedures and investigate their feedback and recommend if any changes are required.
Processes and Systems
Align with SHARJAH CO-OP digitalization strategy, suggest digital opportunities and implement Human resources digital solutions when needed in collaboration with IT team.
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Review the internal Human resources’ business processes, to highlight the valued added tasks and suggest automation when needed and suggest improvement in alignment with good practices in HR.
Design customized human resource management mechanisms using suitable systems in collaboration with system developer and IT team using ERP system or other solutions.
Recommend and develop human resources processes’ re-engineering and update the relevant systems accordingly to effectively support line managers in developing and retaining talents.
Provide strategic guidance and consultation on the organizational performance management framework to main stakeholders.
Act as partner to cascade down the strategic objectives and design the annual objectives for leadership team when needed.
Manage the development of strategic manpower plan and yearly intake plan.
Set workload analysis framework for both business units and position levels to best utilize current human capital, provide vacancies inputs for manpower planning, set benchmarking of target level of performance, define performance gaps, and connect the value-added tasks with productivity and profitability.
Analyze current jobs to re-evaluate the value of the jobs, job purpose, mapped competencies and relevant KPI when needed.
Support leaders in aligning an organization’s people strategy with their business strategy.
Work closely with line managers to improve their team performance, targets and their service level provided to external customers in case of low performing team when applicable.
Evaluate and manage challenges related to talent management and performance gaps and suggest improvement recommendations when needed.
Set a mechanism to conduct learning need analysis considering the business requirements of technical skills, behavioral competencies, innovation, leadership programs, and the benchmarking level of target performance, learning program outcomes and target KPIs to evaluate the return on expectations.
Analyze business needs and key role positions to create SHARJAH CO-OP succession planning framework, related strategies, and effective future leaders’ lines.
Set mechanism to highlight high performers as input for talent pool and develop various assessment tools and learning programs to identify high potentials who will be the main supply for future successors.
Collaborate with current leaders to develop retaining strategies and career development structure for high potentials especially successors.
Assess SHARJAH CO-OP compensation and benefits structure and suggest improvements recommendation to improve SHARJAH CO-OP talent retaining strategy.
Conduct job analysis process when needed to provide efficient feedback regarding jobs evaluations level and salaries benchmarking.
Design and improve reward management system to attract, develop and retain high performers and to support SHARJAH CO-OP position as employer of choice.
Support the implementation of SHARJAH CO-OP Emiratization strategy by mentoring L & D Emiratis team and set related mechanisms to attract, guide, develop and retain talented Emiratis.
Conduct regular research regarding the market trends in Human resources management good practices and talent management especially in retail industry and update the related process, system, and procedures accordingly.
Contribute with new and creative ideas to deliver efficient people-related solutions.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of performance management cycle through conducting questionnaires and analyzing performance system data to recommend corrections actions when needed
Study and analyze Human resources management systems outcomes and related reports and provide insightful improvements when needed.
Participate in any meetings, conferences, seminars and represent the Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Department when necessary.
