MCG Talent are proud to partner with a household name in the UAE to headhunt them a Head of IT to lead on a large digital transformation project happening with the organisation.

Responsibilities:

This Head of IT position will be working to digitally transform the organisation across several work streams – with a core focus on leading the technical migration from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion. This business is looking to synergize two teams (System support and Oracle ERP) who are currently working independently. Alongside this, the business is about to embark on a migration from EBS to Oracle Fusion, it will be the Head of IT’s role to lead on this migration, including planning, customising and developing the re-engineering process. They need someone who has solid macro-level thinking to plan the re-organisation and delivery of the project.

What do I need?

Due to the nature of this project this Head of IT must come from a distribution, retail, e-commerce or trade background. You must have a solid understanding of Oracle ERP systems and an understanding of how multiple systems are integrated and communicate with one another – from a hands on perspective.

Oracle Fusion Migration Experience is a must have!
Extensive Oracle Migration experience
Extensive leadership experience
Experience of creating in-depth integration systems. You need to be hands on
Team leadership knowledge, synergizing teams, getting people to work towards a common goal.
Report Customisation
The ability to re-engineer processes
Macro-level thinking
