Group Treasurer in our office in Dubai.

The Group Treasurer is responsible for building a risk management, governance, monitoring and reporting framework for the group, in line with the UK FCA ICARA principles. Additionally, the implementation of a treasury system and process automation.

Responsibilities

Develop daily group wide reporting on corporate FX risk exposures. Put in place a process to ensure exposures are managed within defined limits.
Production of a daily rolling cashflow and liquidity forecast covering the short to medium term. Ensure adequate liquidity exists considering stressed scenarios. Propose solutions to finance actual/anticipated liquidity shortfalls
Monitor the FX component of p&l and provide insight and analysis on the impact of FX exposures on the company’s performance. Recommend strategies to minimize FX risk.
Develop reporting on capital planning, ensuring each subsidiary is adequately capitalized to meet local regulatory requirements using the group’s strategic plan for modelling purposes.
Develop a model to ensure that funds are deployed efficiently across the group
Take ownership of the cash and capital components of the company’s financial model used for budgeting and strategic planning
Take the lead from a finance perspective on the acquisition and implementation of a robust treasury system that meets the treasury requirements of the group’s strategic ambitions.
Implementation of payment limits in all banks (client & house) across the group per the global governance framework
Overseeing the automation of payment data from ERP to bank, and from bank/payment service provider statements into the ERP and associated reconciliations
Oversee the interface of data from trading counterparties to the ERP to ensure up-to-date information with regards to current / used / free margin
Take control of intra-group settlements relating to trading counterparty balances, ensuring that we minimise fees and unnecessary FX costs.
Develop a risk management framework in line with ICARA principles and standards for the group

Skills & Competencies

Strong exposure to change management and implementation of treasury systems and process automation
Treasury qualification (e.g., ACT)

Experience Requirements

SAP experience
Working in a regulated financial services environment
Professional experience in leading a treasury function in a geographically diverse, multi-currency organization
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Qualified Accountant
