Graphic Designer Required in Dubai

Oversee client and planning of overall projects with main supply of information for production and co-ordination of general graphics for organisers and exhibitors.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

Take initial face to face briefings from clients/DM/PM/Service Centre team and start the initial planning.
Communicate specific show requirements to all departments within graphics and brief Design & production according to resources needed.
Keep communicating with the event assistant/graphics coordinator for exhibitor graphics/TP artwork, proofing and approval. Chase the exhibitor for approval if necessary and kept up to date all the graphics status in the teamwork /clarity.
Communicate signage requirements with the PM.
Signage proofs to share with the AM/DM/PM/client for approval. Also communicate with the production team.
All the signage proofs to be shared through Monday.com for approval. Provide Monday.com training to the client if required.
Ensure all schedules and graphics files are kept up to date and accessible on server.
Keep strong communication with Project team and production department, to keep updated with deadline/schedule changes.
Drive continues improvements in quality, productivity and health & safety in house.
Ensure all deadlines are met for proofing design concepts and sign off process.
Give guidance to printing and installation teams on site.
Maintain and help to grow organiser opportunities and shows pushing for incremental business and retention of existing business.
Ensure GES Graphics provides outstanding customer service to its customers.
Flexibility in respect of being asked to undertake a number of different skills or tasks at any time at a number of different times or locations.
Represent the Company, as appropriate, in a professional manner. Keep abreast of industry trends and events.
Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Head of client services/General Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience gained within the Exhibition and Events Industry
Three to Five (3-5) years of graphics experience
Bachelors or Masters preferred
