Graphic Designer Required in Dubai

Responsible for producing conceptual and production graphic design for corporate clients which meet their brand guidelines. Creating new visual identities for clients and internal customers. GES projects include events, exhibition stands and activations. Responsible for creation of concept submission documents, which enable GES to win business.

Responsibilities

Working within client brand guidelines, design consistent solutions for print, large format graphics, signage, branding and other event collateral.
Responsible for reviewing client brand guidelines, finding out what makes a brand tick, and steering 3D design project creative to ensure it meets the client’s look and feel.
Working from a written brief or verbal instruction, produce graphic design concepts and production artwork within the deadline.
Create mood boards and key visual themes to communicate the chosen direction.
Attend internal and external meetings to discuss the graphic direction of the project, and develop proposals
Work with designers and CAD technicians to interpret CAD drawings, ensuring graphics are suitable for production.
Provide design team with graphic inputs for graphic plans and visuals.
Produce production artwork and liaise with Project Management and Production departments on delivery.
Ensure designs are produced with a focus on quality.
Maintain documentation and file storage of print files, proofs, and approvals.
Development of compelling presentations in response to client briefs and new business opportunities which win business.

Qualifications, Skills, & Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
5+ years of experience in graphic design
Adobe Creative Suite
2D CAD Software – AutoCAD / Vectorworks
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
HTML/Dreamweaver / Flash / Other
Working within a similar role/at a similar level
Working in a fast-paced and changing environment, approachable and open to feedback.
Experience working with Arabic text and fonts
Production of sales and marketing documents and experienced in working with branded giveaway items
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
Creative, curious, and passionate.
A fine-detailed approach to graphic design and typography.
Dedicated to meeting deadlines.
Understands branding and Strategy.
Comfortable discussing your ideas openly with others.
