GP Dentist Required in Dubai

King's College Dubai Hospital is looking for GP Dentist for our Dubai Marina Clinic.

Responsibilities:

To provide a comprehensive Dental service for King’s College Clinics-Dubai
The post-holder will:
Be responsible for the diagnosis and management of patients attending King’s College Clinics-Dubai with conditions requiring dental expertise.
Manage a caseload which includes a wide range of health conditions within King’s College Clinics-Dubai facilities providing outpatient, inpatient and day case treatments.
Ensure the highest standards of care for all patients.
Clinical

Provide an expert opinion, investigate and manage patients who attend King’s College Clinics-Dubai with known or suspected disorders requiring dental expertise.
Diagnose and treat patients according to established standards of best practice in dentistry, including:
Examination and detailed treatment planning for new patients
All types of direct restorations (for adults only)
All types of indirect restorations (Veneers/inlay/onlay)
Preventive treatment (Sealant/fluoride) (for adults only)
Bleaching
Simple extraction.
Fixed prosthetic work (single crown/three Unit Bridge) for his/her cases if occlusion is to be confirmative. In all cases involving a re-organized occlusion or TMD, the patient must be referred to a prosthodontist.
Emergency treatment as needed.
Any treatment not in the dentist’s privileges must be referred to the appropriate facility.
Review the results of all investigations in a timely fashion and modify treatment as required.
Comply with the established King’s College Clinics-Dubai practices regarding outpatient consultations, day care, inpatient and discharge protocols, and follow up.
Comply with the requirements of the regulatory UAE medical health authorities with respect to all professional practices.
Perform necessary interventional procedures and ensure approval has been obtained from the relevant healthcare insurance company prior to performing such procedures.
Accurately document all relevant patient information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with King’s College Clinics-Dubai health record keeping policy.
Communicate medical information to patients and the patients’ families.
Liaise with other medical and surgical specialities and professional support services for additional input as required.
Accept appropriate referrals from other speciality Medical Centres, walk-in patients and patients referred from other hospitals.
Work effectively and efficiently within the team structure of the King’s College Clinics-Dubai treatment centre by maintaining a good working relationship with other members of staff, promoting collaboration and adopting a team-based approach to patient care.
Implement, support and follow all clinic initiatives, policies and procedures.
Practice only within the privileges granted by King’s College Clinics-Dubai and UAE medical health authorities.

Education:

BDS Or MDS
Completion of a recognised specialist training programme desired.
UAE Medical Health Authority License
BLS/ ACLS/ PALS as per the specialty
Has worked in hospital or similar setting for at least 2 years
