Our client has over $1B in sales, and growing revenue YoY, with over 1500 employees globally. Our client is experiencing unprecedented growth and is seeking a Global VP of Information Technology.

Requirements

Job Requirements
Deliver a holistic strategy around our client's enterprise-wide business systems technology portfolio that creates value by enabling scale, improving productivity, and reducing spend
Developing, evolving Information Technology strategy including a road map to rationalize the current enterprise business solutions so they integrate across all businesses and support one company business strategy, as well as scale with the business over the next 3-5 years, set priorities and sequence for technology projects
Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation, and support of the systems; this includes management of enterprise architecture, business applications, IT security/cybersecurity and risk, infrastructure, and operations support
Evaluating operational needs and requirements, establishing, and directing IT-related projects in accordance with the company priorities
Leading evaluation, analysis, selection, and introduction of new technology and platforms to improve enterprise capabilities
Serve as a trusted advisor; build and maintain relationships with other executives and key stakeholders to understand business needs, and enable cost-effective delivery of services and innovative shared solutions
Evaluating operational needs and requirements, establishing, and directing IT-related projects in accordance with the company priorities
Leading evaluation, analysis, selection, and introduction of new technology and platforms to improve enterprise capabilities
Establishing and achieving system performance, reliability, security, and financial goals for the enterprise network and computer systems by developing and enforcing technical standards and operations and maintenance practices
Acting as the final point of escalation of resolving complex system and data-related issues
Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the IT organization

Candidate Requirements
A strategic technology leader with similar experience, preferably technology leadership experience in a Global and/or public environment
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
Proven track record of road mapping and executing an enterprise-wide technology portfolio strategy that creates value for the business via improved productivity and decreased spend
Expertise with Information Security and Privacy practices; experienced with IT security, governance, risk, and compliance of applications and product networks in a public company
Ability to set a vision and inspire and motivate teams; can drive organizational change within and beyond functions
Experienced delivering against deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Stays up-to-date on knowledge and understanding of new technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology to business leaders, and others not immersed in the technology world
