Financial Controller Required in Dubai

Responsible for the company’s books, including timely management of Receivables, Payables, Cost Accountancy and General ledger for football team in India.
Manage and motivate team of accountants to deliver desired results.
Work closely with operations team in India based in Bhubaneshwar and head office in Dubai and submit MIS on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Work with auditors to ensure accurate and timely closure of books; identify and implement proactive cost control; providing management with accurate audited financial statements.
Handle fixed asset management.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting software and accounting control procedures.
Handle monthly Bank reconciliation.
Audit invoices accurately.
Detect and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Filing all statutory returns and oversee all secretarial practices as required by the government from time to time.
Requirements
Qualified Accountant with minimum 10 years’ experience at a managerial level in a reputable company.
Thorough knowledge of general accounting.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year- end close process.
Hands-on experience with ERP accounting software.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
Excellent command over verbal and written English communication skills.
Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and management skills.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of return filing requirements in India
