Financial Controller Required in Dubai

Key Responsibilities

Setting up of the infrastructure
Implementation of an ERP system
Establishing accounting policies in compliance with the IFRS.
Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
Leading monthly management reporting
Implementing a robust system of operational and financial internal controls
Supervise the regional accountants
Manage working capital and liquidity
Planning allocation of funds
Managing tax compliance of the company
Reviewing all key contracts of the company
Develop and present ad-hoc reports as required by the senior leadership team
Management of Accounts Payables
Implementing effective controls
Implement an automated client invoicing mechanism
Stringent credit control policies and mechanisms
Maintaining banking accounts and relationships globally.

Qualifications and Experience

At least 8 years of relevant and progressive experience in financial reporting and controlling
Big 4 experience
A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of the IFRS
Experience in implementing an ERP system.
Fluency in English language is a must. French & Arabic would be an added advantage.
